01 / Size & layout

Use the size of a blocked square. The join is the net extra width between two squares; enter 0 when edges meet without adding width. Outer borders are excluded.

Up to 20 × 20. Resizing keeps the top-left layout; squares beyond the new size are cropped and can be restored with Undo.

02 / Choose a color

Numbers on squares match the counts list. Editing the selected color updates every square with that number.
